Introduced by Canon in 1966, the FT QL followed the famous Pellix model. Unlike the Pellix, the FT QL had a quick-return mirror and offered stop-down TTL metering. A mechanical camera with a built-in light meter for extra convenience.

One noticeable feature of the FT QL series is the 'QL' part which stands for Quick Load. This system was introduced by Canon to simplify loading of your 35mm roll.

Camera comes in good overall condition for its age. Shutter speeds and light meter are still within spec. Very slight desilvering on top & bottom of prism finder (no effect on results of course). 

The legendary 50mm f1.4 FL lens comes in fair overall condition. There is some damage to the front filter thread, however filters can still be mounted. Some very slight traces of fungus etching can be found on the front element but nothing which will affect image quality. Priced accordingly
