Hasselblad 500EL/M /w Carl Zeiss Distagon 50mm f4 C [120 kit]
Hasselblad 500EL/M /w Carl Zeiss Distagon 50mm f4 C [120 kit]
One of the best entries into the Hasselblad world, the 500EL/M. A 500C/M with automatic transport feature thanks to the motor drive on the bottom. Same lenses, same backs, same finders and a great start to get to know 6x6 medium format photography. A whole range of legendary Carl Zeiss lenses are available for this system.
Not to forget, the 500EL was also the foundation camera used by Nasa to take to the moon. There's still a couple of left up there but we'll save you the effort of looking for them 😉

This 500EL/M comes in overal fair condition. The body is in good shape with some signs of previous use. As most 50mm Distagon lenses from this era, the lens has some microscratches on the front element (which won't have any noticeable effect on the results). Cosmetically, the lens has some clear marks of previous use on the chrome finish of the lens barrel. Comes with an A12 back with obvious signs of previous use.
Body powers on, advances film and cocks the shutter as expected. Shutter in the lens has speeds still within tolerance. The film back seems to advance without any issues. The kit is usable in current condition however we highly advise to have this kit serviced with regular use.
We decided against servicing it at this moment to keep the the cost low and the decision with the next owner. For that reason this kit is offered without our normal warranty. A great and affordable kit for anyone looking to jump into the Hasselblad world!
