The Leicaflex SL was released in 1968 as a follow-up to the original Leicaflex, Leicas first attempt to enter the SLR market. It featured TTL metering, a top speed of 1/2000s and an ISO range from 12 to 3200. Combined with a big and bright viewfinder, it's definitely a solid and capable platform. With a whole range of Leica R lenses available, we consider it a great (and often forgotten) entry into the Leica world.

While they are most common in a silver chrome finish, a limited number were also available in black chrome and the exceedingly rare black paint finish.

Our example comes in the silver chrome finish and is in great working condition. The light meter is within tolerance using a 1,35V battery.
