The Leicaflex SL was released in

1968 as a follow-up to the original Leicaflex, Leicas first attempt to enter the SLR market. It featured TTL metering, a top speed of 1/2000s and an ISO range from 12 to 3200. Combined with a big and bright viewfinder, it's definitely a solid and capable platform. With a whole range of Leica R lenses available, we consider it a great (and often forgotten) entry into the Leica world.

While they are most common in a silver chrome finish, a limited number were also available in black chrome and the exceedingly rare black paint finish.

This silver chrome example comes in great shape together with its legendary Leica Summicron-R 50mm f2 lens, filter and lens hood. All in original box. The light meter is within tolerance using a 1,35V battery. Shutter speeds were tested and all within factory specficiation.

A great kit for anyone looking to get into the Leica eco-system with a gorgeous Leicaflex SL and the legendary 50mm Summicron!
