Nikkormat ELW /w Vivitar 28mm f2.5 [35mm kit]
Nikkormat ELW /w Vivitar 28mm f2.5 [35mm kit]
Second iteration of the Nikkormat EL series, the ELW was mostly the same as the previous EL but supported the AW-1 motor winder. Released in 1979, it was one of the last pre-AI cameras released by Nikon before the switched to their auto indexing system for the lenses.
It features speeds from 4 to 1/1000 sec, through-the-lens metering and a fully automatic exposure mode. This solid and robust camera (full metal body), is a great pick for anyone looking for an entry into the Nikon system but doesn't want to jump in to the professional line-up yet.

Camera comes in good overall condition with normal signs of previous use. Speeds were checked and are accurate, meter and auto mode both still within spec. Body comes with a Vivitar 28mm f2.5 lens in good condition. Great kit for beginners and Nikon enthusiasts.
