Pentax SP500 /w Super-Takumar 55mm f2 [35mm kit]
Pentax SP500 /w Super-Takumar 55mm f2 [35mm kit]
Released in 1971, the Pentax SP500 as a budget model of the Spotmatic II. While being nearly identical to the Spotmatic II it lacks the selftimer, hotshoe and only has speeds up to 1/500s. It technically can still reach 1/1000s though but don't tell anyone 🤫
-
This SP500 comes with signs of normal wear. All speeds are within tolerance however, one or two of the higher speeds lightly squeak (will not affect the results). We chose not to service this one as the speeds are still within tolerance and want to keep this beautiful kit affordable. Light meter was not tested but cells on these models are usually not responsive or within tolerance (without service) anymore. Priced accordingly. Comes with a beautiful M42 55mm f2 Super-Takumar standard lens.
